The Everest Surgical Institute will be a two-story, 18,300 square foot building to be located at 2960 E. St. Luke’s Street in Meridian, Idaho.
The 1st floor will be a surgeon-owned Ambulatory Surgical Center consisting of three Operating Room rooms large enough to facilitate the most complex and space-dependent out-patient surgeries offered in the Treasure Valley area.
The 2nd floor will have three Medical Office/Clinic pods where surgeons can rotate using the Office/Clinic space to do their patient visits & clinical work on the days/times they are not operating in the Operating Rooms downstairs. These pods will each consist of five or six Exam Rooms, optional Procedure Rooms, Nurses Desks, Restrooms and Storage Space. Each pod will be operated on wireless networks and portable/storeable technology so that each pod is interchangeable for a different Surgeon and staff on any given day. All three pods will share a Waiting Area, Reception Desk, X-Ray Room & Machinery, Employee Break Room, Physical Therapy Room and a shared Doctors’ Office space.
The ASC will be built according to Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines and will gain full accreditation in late 2021.
The building has been designed by Jerrod Wallgren of JGT Architects with the assistance of Aspen Engineers (Civil), Stapley Engineering (Structural) and Musgrove Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing). The General Contrator will be The Perigee Group under the direction of Travis Knutsen, Dustin Hilgert and Kyle Gllagher.
Construction started in October 2020 and will be completed in Fall of 2021.
